          Tuesday Night - Ladies' League

Sign up today for Ladies League beginning May 17, 2011.

          CRCC LADIES LEAGUE – 2011

Play begins Tuesday, May 17th; Awards Dinner & Fun Night Tuesday, August 2rd

(A light supper will be available after play on Tuesdays)

          1.     2-women teams play nine holes of best shot golf:  both players tee off, choose the better shot, mark the spot, and both hit the next shot from there.  Repeat until hole is completed. A “whiff” counts as a shot.

          2.     One-club rule:  each player can drop their ball within one club length of the landing spot, no closer to the hole and no movement from rough to fairway.  Doesn’t apply on the green.  Winter rules – bumping ball allowed.

          3.     A personal handicap is not necessary.  A team’s average score is determined after 2 weeks of play and then recalculated each week.  In a match shots are given from 1 team to another based on the difference between their averages.  A team earns one point for each match won.

          4.     Shot-gun start at 5:30 Tuesdays alternating weekly between the front and back nines.  Arrive in time to get to your start hole.  Scorecards for each match will be at the sign-up area.  Please leave the card at the desk until both teams have arrived so both know their start hole.

          5.     Teams can re-schedule their matches if necessary.  Play the designated 9 holes for that week starting on #1 or #10.  Sign up for a tee time and use the official scorecard.  Try to re-schedule as close to the Tuesday as possible so scores can be calculated for the next week.  Remember to let faster players through when making up matches.

          6.     If necessary, teams can use substitute players of their choice.

          7.     Position Night is scheduled towards the end of the season.  Teams will be arranged according to the standings with #1 playing #2, 3 playing 4, etc.  You are encouraged not to use subs for this match – please re-schedule if necessary.

          8.     Entry fee is $20.00 per team member ($40.00 per team).  The money will be distributed in cash prizes at the end of the season.

          9.     Non-CRCC players pay green fees at the punch card price,  purchasing a punch card at the beginning of League Play.

          10.   In case of thunder/lightening, players will return to the clubhouse.  After 30 minutes it will be determined whether play can continue.  If round cannot be completed, that week will be scratched in the standings.
